a nice spring day

We went to New Hope today and feed the ducks... I am starting a new set of little painting. Titled Oh Happy Day... using a stencil i made for the text and images of the days events.

This is the 1st one :
This piece is on watercolor paper, 8 by 11, i made stencils for the text and a stamp for the duck... the duck today were so brave they keep coming right up to us for food. There were a hand full of them swimming and walking around... but the best part was the two baby ducks.

a little book from today

here is a silly little book i made today :) ... i have been working on some things i have to wait to post them ... but soon pictures will be up here

little paintings

even though i have a big, long research paper to finish i am still finding time to draw and make these lovely little painting... i can get them done quickly and they are easy to scan... i love it. The two flowers painting at for my grandma, i am giving them to her for Easter.... and the little blue bird is for my sister it is her little pet :) I went to ikea this afternoon and got some frames i will post pictures of them tomorrow.

this is all i have been working on, i have been working on my boyfriends birthday present, but i can't post any of those pictures until the end of the month... i am very, very excited about it!

since www.overnightprints.com are having a really big postcard sale i am ordering some this weekend, a few images from awhile ago that are already up here are on the list and a new set of three holiday themes are becoming postcards. I plan on senting them out to greeting card companies and some friends :) look for them in your mailbox. So here is the new image, i photographed it this week and played around with it in photoshop.... the other two are going to be a sweethearts theme with two love birds, and a snowflake theme with some Christmas bows.... i am exicted :) i love ordering new postcards. i will post the other images when they get done i might not make it for this sale but i will keep working... just alot of stuff going on right now

I am working on some holiday theme postcard images but i made this last week ...

and here is the basket i made for my cousins baby shower... it was last Sunday, there is an owl plush, matching blanket, and a mom's onesies and matching socks, and a smart cookie onesies... along with a few other little things it was really cute... a lot of people liked it at the shower hopefully i will have some more baskets to make soon :)

presents i made for my mom

she wanted something to hang in her office, she likes motorcyles and tattoo like art so i made her these... first bike i painted :) i got 3 cute little frames for her to put them in. I painted everything, cut everything out glued and sewed them together.. i like the stitch work... and the tea stained background

here are the puppets we made in the puppet making class i am teaching on Saturdays.... these are from 2 weeks ago. i will post last weeks soon

monday is mailer day

today i finally decided to get all this stuff together for a big mailer, i made 2 books of little drawings and got postcards together.... and since i invested in this book a few weeks ago... i decided i needed to take a trip to the post office to sent everything out so that's where i am off too now...

this is what i do in work sometimes... during homework time i draw little pictures :) i did these a few days ago. the kids always ask why do i always draw animals... its funny to explain those things to them. (it's because animals don't have to look exactly like them, i can make somethings up, i am not so worried about making it look like them... no identity sorta thing)

puppet making class

i do this puppet making class for 5 years and up at a community center... its alot of fun. this week we make snowmen and these cute little giraffe sock puppets... these are mine examples i showed them today.

gifts for my sweetheart

i painted and sewed these together last week, just got them scanned. i got 3 nice frames to put them in for my boyfriend, hopefully he will like them. i think valentines day should be a homemade gift giving holiday... its alot more fun that way :)
