the scarfs i am so proud of...

thanks to my bffs mom i learned to crochet about 3 weeks ago... so far i have made 3 scarfs and i am working on my fourth as we speak. its very relaxing, something i can use right now... i cant wait to start making little creatures out of yarn... i gotta learn how, plus socks, blankets and maybe a hat :) you have no idea how happy i was when i got it .... i feel like a little old lady, the gold one was the first one i made its mine, and the other one is my sister's.

every year i try to make something new and nice to give to my family and a few friends...
here are a few of them... i will be mailing a few to flordia and i have a list of them that need to get done for christmas day...










ok lets see what i have been really up too the past two weeks
i have been trying to make the house look pretty, i baked about 20 dozens of cookies, we delivery most of the cookies to friends and family, i have been making little oraments of everyone, i learned to crochet (i made a whole scarf yesterday because i was snowed it), shoveled my steps and sidewalk this morning (crazy) and make some cups of peppermint mocha, thanks to my cousin for the recipe :) i will post some of the sketch i have been doing maybe tommorrow or later tonite.

even though i did these the end of november i am finally putting them up.... i have been busy christmas shopping and making those present for friends and family... i will post some of those pictures next...

these are the scans of the a few of the stocking... every one of them are hand sewn.... i had a good time making them. i think next year i am going to make my grandparents a set...

Here are a few drawings of something i have been working on. I had this super amazing idea to make a new advent calender for my mom.... the plan was to make 25 little red stocking and handsew a different image on each one... i finish them just in time, December 1st... i have to upload the photos of them... its funny because there is so many of them and the spot that i put them is so small... you will laugh at the picture... i will try to post it tonite. But here are the sketches for the stocking ideas, and the homemade oraments i am making for my family members.... those picture will be up soon too....

napkin drawings

here are the sketches i did the week of thanksgiving, i am planning on making Christmas gifts for everyone this year.... these are drawing of lighthouses for a set of napkins for my grandpa. last year i gave him a few lighthouse painting in a really nice frame.... so this year i thought this would be nice.

when i am sick i like to color, with crayons like a little kid yes but it gets my mind off of the sickness... so these are some of the drawings i did the week i was sick


these were the sick patterns... full of soup, masks and toast.

while i was sick, i kept having these strange dreams about strawberry ice cream...


these are just some pretty patterns i made when i was feeling a little bit better, feathers and leaves.
